Writing
When I write, I try show connections the reader didn’t know existed, to inspire interests they didn’t know they had.
Thought Leadership
Communicating big ideas that make people think is one of my favorite tasks. It isn’t easy, but when my writing changes a reader’s perspective it is very rewarding. Besides my personal writing—which can be found here—I enjoy crafting thought leadership pieces for brands.
I was the lead contributor for issue #4 of Athena Jones, an exploration/editorial series by brand consultancy Zeus Jones. I led ideation, research, writing, and editing of seven articles and activations. One exploration I co-created, (The Joyful Resilience Project) was even nominated for a Webby award. Brand Writing
It can be a challenge for brands to communicate their value. But good writing can help. While some articles I write are SEO-optimized—and I’ve written over 100 of those—others are just plain interesting. Either way, writing to elevate brands always presents a unique opportunity.
Branding agency Brightmark Consulting approached me to write an SEO blog article about a fun topic: the pirate branding of environmental vigilantes Sea Shepherds, and what brands can learn from it. Read it here.
